The Ethio-Japan investment seminar took place at the Addis Ababa Hilton Hotel on Monday August 25th, 2014. The Seminar brought Japanese, Ethiopian businesses and high level Ethiopian government Officials for interesting presentations and discussions.
A new survey by multinational professional services firm Ernst &Young shows that technology, media and telecommunication sectors are attracting the highest amounts in Foreign Direct Investment in Africa. The sectors accounted for 150 projects, retail and consumer products 131 projects and financial services with 112 projects.

Led by Chokri Ahmadi, the Addis Ababa representative office will cover Sudan, Ethiopia and French-speaking Africa countries, according to Elcin Ergun, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Commercial at Merck Serono.
Africa Investment Forum, held at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia brought together representatives from both African and non-African business communities driving Africa’s development agenda. This 3 day networking event was co-organized by The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Trade and Fairs GmbH, Planetfair GmbH and the Pan African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PACCI).
